Sasha and Caleb will always have a special place in my heart, and in my journey as a wedding photographer! They were one of the very first couples to trust me to photograph their wedding, right when I was getting ready to go full time back in 2021. In fact, Sasha and I were both at the University of Utah together when we met! By the time their wedding rolled around, I had stopped college to focus on weddings, and even moved out to Alabama already. I flew out to Utah twice (for Sasha's bridal session and for their wedding day later that summer!) and within just a few weeks of finishing their wedding they had asked if I could come meet them in San Francisco that fall to do formal wedding portraits in their new home!

Sasha's Summer Bridal Session

We did Sasha's bridal portraits at Tunnel Springs Park, in North Salt Lake City! We were there in June, just in time for all the wish flowers to be blooming, and got the prettiest purple sunset for her wedding photos.

Wedding Day Highlights

Their summer wedding was at the White Shanty Venue in Provo, Utah! They had written letters to each other, and met at the big doors in front to read them and spend time together before their wedding ceremony.

San Francisco Wedding Portraits

We had such a blast on wedding day that we never got around to doing sunset photos! They hadn't wanted to leave the party and their guests, so we ended up doing flash portraits at the end — and then I met them in San Francisco in October!

MEET SARAH

Alabama & Southeastern Wedding Photographer

Inspired by genealogy and family legacy, I go into every wedding day with the knowledge that your wedding photos are some of the only photos that stick around generationally — they are a critical part of the story your family will learn about you! I consider it’s my responsibility and privilege to help tell that story honestly and elegantly.

You should probably know: I will cry during your dad's speech. I will be getting down on the dance floor with your guests. I'll help you plan intentional time with your partner and closest friends and family on your wedding day — and step back so that you can experience those core memories without interruption. I'll guide you through portraits and wedding prep, work closely with your other vendors to make the magic happen, and capture every moment of your wedding day in all its glory.

If that's the kind of wedding photographer you're looking for...

You're in the right place.
