My approach to engagement photography is relaxed and movement-driven. It focuses on helping you get comfortable enough to be yourselves, and then documenting your natural relationship dynamics. I give direction and guidance when you need it, and space to be yourselves when you don’t.
You’ll never be asked to act or perform — just to show up as yourself. The goal is to create images that feel classic, true-to-color, and genuinely reflective of your relationship.

Absolutely! Travel within Western Washington is included in your session. That includes everything from the North Cascades and Mt. Baker to Mt. Rainier, Olympic National Park, and the coast. I grew up exploring WA with my family and love doing it with my couples!
I have a whole blog post about this here, and I work with each of my couples to help them plan the perfect outfits for their engagement photos. My main recommendation: if nothing else, choose something that you are comfortable and confident in! Whatever that means for you. Comfort goes a long way when it comes to photos.
