I specialize in classic portraits — but more specifically, I specialize in romantic, timeless portraits that both look and feel natural and comfortable.
My approach to engagement photography is relaxed and movement-driven. It focuses on helping you get comfortable enough to be yourselves, and then documenting your natural relationship dynamics. I give direction and guidance when you need it, and space to be yourselves when you don’t.
You’ll never be asked to act or perform — just to show up as yourself. The goal is to create images that feel classic, true-to-color, and genuinely reflective of your relationship.

Absolutely! Seattle engagement sessions include travel within Western Washington: everything from the North Cascades and Mt. Baker to Mt. Rainier, Olympic National Park, and the coast. I grew up exploring WA with my family and love doing it with my couples!
I have a whole blog post about this here, and I work with each of my couples to help them plan the perfect outfits for their engagement photos. My main recommendation: if nothing else, choose something that you are comfortable and confident in! Whatever that means for you. Comfort goes a long way when it comes to photos.

YES! I absolutely love city engagement sessions. I work in Olympia, Seattle, and Tacoma most often, but adore visiting new towns and documenting you in places that matter to you. Urban engagement sessions are my jam. I'll always help with location planning — you aren't on your own with this.

Shoot me a message through my contact form! Once I get your message, I'll reach out to you via email with my full pricing guide and availability. We'll also typically schedule a time to chat on the phone and get to know each other a bit!
Chat Details
During our call (or over email, if you're not into the whole phone calls thing) we'll chat about your vision for your photos, go over any questions you have for me, and work out locations and scheduling details!
After our call, I'll send over your contract and invoice! I typically require a 50% retainer to hold your date. Once you've signed the contract and sent over that retainer, you're officially booked!
