WEDDING EXPERIENCE

THE

My job goes beyond just taking beautiful photos — I'm also here to celebrate with you, support your marriage, and help you fill your day with memories worth keeping.

I photograph vibrant, joy-filled wedding days for couples who want the energy and excitement of a full wedding celebration without losing sight of what matters most.

Whether you're planning a lavish ceremony with 200 of your favorite people, a mountaintop weekend at Crystal Mountain, or a reception that turns into a neon-lit dance party, your wedding photos need real moments, real memories, and real joy behind them. That's what turns them from pretty pictures into genuine heirlooms.

And that's what I'm here to document for you.

Blending Traditional and Documentary Wedding Photography

Natural and joyful portraits of you guys on your wedding day — you know, the classic showstoppers that you’ll hang up big on your wall or keep on your nightstand for literally the rest of your lives. And we don’t have to spend all day making your wedding into a production to achieve these, most of the time they take just 10 minutes or so while the light is nice.

Documentary style, candid photos of your wedding day events. From getting ready quietly with your parents to your private last dance, I’ll capture your day as it really was — without staging, distracting or interrupting.

Family and group portraits — as formal or candid as you like! But my goal is always for your parents to have a nice family photo for their holiday cards this year, and you to have some nice photos to look back on as the very first ones of your brand new family unit.

Reception Vibes. Whether you’re planning to dance the night away, bring in your favorite food trucks for a late night snack, or make a splash with your wedding exit (pool party? Slip and slide???), I’m here to document all the evening’s shenanigans, in all their messy, colorful glory.

Sarah is a gem, and a joy to work with. She made certain that my fiancé and I were comfortable around the camera during our engagement shoot, which helped us both feel more confident and comfortable around the camera when our wedding day came. We were absolutely blown away by the pictures we have from both our engagement shoot, my bridals, and our wedding!!!

Short answer: no! I strongly believe that photography and videography are two completely different specialities, and both require 100% focus on wedding day. My focus is on your wedding photography — but I can recommend some awesome videographers whether you're in Alabama or Washington!

Not every wedding does! I do about half of my weddings with one. A second photographer allows extra space for a more creative and diverse final gallery — but I also typically recommend them if your ceremony space is difficult to maneuver (very large, very small/tightly packed, or a religious ceremony).

You'll get sneak peeks (6 of the best images) back within 48 hours, your preview gallery (a mini gallery with 50+ of the best images) a week after your wedding, and your final wedding gallery on your one month anniversary.

I currently split my time between Gadsden, Alabama and Seattle, Washington. My family is based in AL , but I photograph weddings throughout the Puget Sound and Washington Coast regularly. Because I travel to WA so often, there are no travel fees for weddings near Tacoma, Olympia, or anywhere within two hours of Seattle. I also still happily photograph weddings across Alabama!
