I’m photographing a wedding this October for a couple who met on Hinge — with photos I took of the bride, which is honestly the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me. The bride had previously been a bridesmaid at another wedding I photographed a year or two ago, and loved the flash photos I got of her during the reception enough that she put them on her profile! (And then met her husband through it just a little bit later.)
Anyway, here are a few other wedding reception flash photos of bridesmaids and guests (that are definitely hinge-worthy) for you to enjoy!

Glowing sunglasses are always a great idea for the dance floor. I love anything that brings some extra color, funky light, and personality into wedding dance floor photos!

If you really want awesome wedding dance floor photos, you gotta get on the floor! Your guests will meet you out there, but you definitely have to take the lead. Something couples have started doing recently that I have loved is calling all the guests onto the dance floor for a group photo after dinner, and then starting the music immediately. It’s actually genius because instead of hoping and praying that a couple guests will be brave enough to start dancing when no one else is out there, it starts the dancing off with everyone out on the floor! Not everyone will stay, of course, but it makes it so much easier for your guests who would dance if anyone else was dancing to get out there.

And if you’re considering getting a sparkly, beaded reception dress for part two of your wedding day… consider this your sign!
