Wedding Venues With Awesome Views of Mt. Rainier

Whether you grew up with Mount Rainier as the backdrop for your childhood or fell in love with her later in life, The Mountain is near and dear to the hearts of many of us here in Washington. If you’re looking for a wedding venue with beautiful views of her, you’ve come to the right spot! Below you’ll find both my very favorite wedding venues with incredible views of Mt. Rainier, as well as honorable mentions that still have views but may not be quite as iconic.

Edlynn Farm

Edlynn Farm has a grassy outdoor ceremony space that culminates with a beautiful, wild field, an expansive view of the valley, and then a truely iconic view of Mt. Rainier. I love this view because the mountain is obviously the main event in the background, but it doesn’t eat the whole view, if that makes sense? This is definitely my personal favorite wedding venue with views of Rainier.

The Admiral’s House

The Admiral’s House is a great option for a more formal and classic wedding venue with a view of Mount Rainier. This venue is a historic home overlooking the Puget Sound, Seattle Skyline, and (of course) the Mountain. It has a beautiful backyard ceremony and reception site complete with hydrangeas and a polished garden, and is a well loved luxury wedding venue in the Seattle area.

Crystal Mountain Resort!

Crystal Mountain Resort has a tiled outdoor patio and another incredible view of Mt. Rainier. This view is much closer than most of the other venues in this post, because obviously Crystal Mountain is *right* there! I’ve always got a soft spot for ski resort weddings, and this is a great place for that. The view from here is especially cool because you can see so much of the Cascade Range, not just Rainier herself! Plus you get to take the gondola up, which is an experience in and of itself.

Mount Peak Farm

Mount Peak Farm is another of my favorite Washington wedding venues with views of Mount Rainier. It’s surrounded by fields, which are then surrounded by forest, and then above that are views of both Mt. Rainier and Mount Peak. I love that this venue has an elevated ceremony site with a pretty white pergola and stone patio! It really makes it a beautiful spot.

Lake Wilderness Lodge

Atmosphere can definitely get in the way a little bit of the view of Rainier from the Lake Wilderness Lodge, but on a clear day it’s a really lovely outdoor ceremony space on the lawn next to Lake Wilderness, with the mountain visible in the distance to the right. The lodge itself has some really beautiful windows and gets a ton of natural light, which is a huge win in a wedding venue!

The Orchard at Sunshine Hill

This is another one where atmosphere can keep the mountain out of view, but it really is a beautiful orchard venue and the view is fantastic when conditions are right.

Mt. Rainier National Park

And of course this post wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Mt. Rainier National Park. I’ve included the link to their Special Usage Permits page, which will give you all the rules and requirements for a wedding in the national park itself!

These wedding venues also have views of Mt. Rainier:

While the views might not be quite as idyllic as some of the venues above, sometimes it’s okay to have the mountain there as a guest instead of the main character 🙂 Here are some other Washington State wedding venues with views of Rainier! I try to keep this list pretty updated — if I’ve missed something, please definitely reach out to me and let me know so I can add it!

Mineral Lake Lodge has a really incredible view of Mt. Rainier behind Mineral Lake, my only issue is that they have a pavilion below the ceremony site that is a bit distracting.

Cranberry Lake Farm and Wedding Venue: While Mount Rainier isn’t visible from their main ceremony site, they do have some really beautiful views of her from the property, and both the lake and their arbor are gorgeous.

Nisqually Winds Mountain House is a beautiful mountain venue! The very top of Rainier is visible from their patioed ceremony site.

Winter View Lodge has a mossy stone path leading to their main ceremony site. The forest behind that is the main event, but Mt. Rainier is definitely there too off to the right!

The Ruminer Ranch Wedding & Event Venue has a beautiful view of the mountain, but there’s a whiter farm-style fence that cuts through and is pretty distracting. They still have a beautiful lawn and plenty of space though!
